- Included Health, the multibillion-dollar digital health firm formed last year by the merger of telehealth provider Doctor on Demand and clinical navigator Grand Rounds, is launching a new product combining virtual care, access to in-person care and patient navigation, Included announced Tuesday at the HLTH conference in Las Vegas.
- The new offering, called All-Included Health, offers primary, specialty, urgent, behavioral care and gender-affirming care provided by a personalized care team.
- By January, the AIC model will be live for six clients representing 700,000 members, a spokesperson told Healthcare Dive.

Large vendors like Teladoc, Amwell and Included have stressed that their products, which run the gamut from virtual mental health to chronic condition management, create a one-stop-shop for virtual care as employers and health plans increasingly look to rely on one player for their telemedical needs to lower costs.
Included argues its key differentiator is integrated virtual care and clinical navigation, which it says is moving the needle on helping patients navigate the complex benefits ecosystem to access high-quality care.
AIC is the latest product bundling that Included is offering its clients.
AIC includes a multidisciplinary care team quarterbacked by a member’s primary care physician, a shared electronic health record and care navigation tools that can guide members to clinically appropriate, in-network care, Included said. It also has an app and concierge support for members to get answers to benefit and billing questions.
Included said AIC increased engagement with plan benefits by 33% and helped 77% more people connect to a higher-quality primary care physician.
It also resulted in a 25% increase in the number of members who accessed behavioral health treatment, a figure that grew to 35% for members residing in predominantly Black and Hispanic areas, according to the San Francisco-based provider.
Doctor on Demand and Grand Rounds announced plans to merge in March 2021, before rebranding the combined entity as Included Health last October.
