Launch of the Empower Youth Project

These are exciting times at A4HU as the launch of the BMZ funded four year Empower Youth Project took place during the July –September quarter. The global and local inception meetings have been conducted with the participation of District Chief Administrative Officers, Resident District Commissioners, District Community Development Officers, District Health Officers, Health Centre In-Charges, District Youth leaders and community youth representatives. What is innovative is the updated intervention approach that revolves around Results Based Financing and enhanced youth economic empowerment for improved SRHR/FP.  

Streamlining youth clubs, YEC formation and launch in Kamuli District

Some photos from the establishment of the Youth Empowerment Centre in Kitayunjwa sub county in Kamuli district, which is a scale up district from the previous Social Economic Empowerment Project. It will serve 10 clubs, and 300 young people across 6 sub counties.
